Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stone Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping, cutting, and laying stone materials to construct or repair walls, floors, foundations, monuments, and other stone structures. Precision, craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of stone types and construction techniques are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Cut, shape, and dress natural and artificial stone using hand tools and power tools.
Build stone walls, walkways, fireplaces, facades, and other structures according to blueprints and drawings.
Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to bind stones together.
Repair or restore existing stone structures.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Operate and maintain tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Measure and mark surfaces to guide stone placement.
Collaborate with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors.
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
